Today I had hella fun in my internship. I meet more people that work in the organization.I got to go to Balboa highschool and meet new students. Coleman advocates is creating a college trip for students at balboa highschool and they got the hook up by big companies that donated.So I meet other people that are in charged in running the program at this high school.Since they where having a meeting today called face to face conference me and my mentor MK went grocery shopping and it was hella fun we got to know each other more and we talked about everything. haha So we got like vegies and fruits so people can munch on during the meeting. Then we went back to the office and I helped her organize her office and put pictures of the boycotts they had created. A possible project my mentor Mk has for mr is to help her organize a talent show city wide to collect funds for illegal students that want to go to college.

10am to 3pm (5 hours)


Today I went to persia and Vienna to an organization Im working in called Coleman Advocates and basically she just did a plan for me and how my schedule will look like and what kind of stuff I would be doin. My mentor was MK Nguyen and she was really nice she explained to me what kind of organization where they.They go to high schools around the bay area such as Blaboa,Burton,Thurgood and others to talk to students about what should they do so they can be able to have the type of education they want to have.Coleman Advocated organizes program for the youth and they find issues that are affecting the world and they look for a solution using other peoples resources.
